Welcome!
Katie Brant founded Katie's Kids for the Cure in 1998 with the singular goal of finding a cure for pediatric brain tumors. She wanted Katie's Kids to become a "research machine."
If you read the news articles written about her, you'll realize that Katie was an extraordinary woman. At one point during her illness when her family dropped Katie off at the train station, she turned to them and said, "I hope I find a seat next to someone who really needs me." Katie's illness never extinguished her passion for helping others.
It is in that same spirit that this organization finds itself hoping to be led to people like you who share Katie's vision and dream of helping children. Katie's Kids for the Cure is her legacy, and we hope to one day realize her dream of finding a cure for pediatric brain tumors. This is a big job, but with your help, we are confident that we will be able to make her proud.
